THE ESSENTIAL LOST

Fields of Necessity comes from a recurring condition rather than a single moment. Just when things begin to feel familiar, circumstances shift, asking one to move on, whether by choice or necessity. Over time, this repetition sharpens a quiet awareness of what is essential enough to carry forward and what must be left behind.

All meetings end in parting. Everything one comes to love is already passing, and once it does, it does not return.

There is a space between attachment and departure worth holding, one that asks what it means to hold onto something without clinging, and how to honour what passes without trying to force it back. In these moments there is both limitation and freedom: a reminder that every encounter leaves its mark even as it fades, and that the act of noticing is where meaning quietly resides.

Time passes quickly, and certain moments reveal themselves as fleeting only after they have gone. There is a wish to have lingered longer, to have savoured more, to have spent just a little more time with what truly matters.
